Are You Submerged?

This past week I was able to be a part of one of the greatest youth camps of all time! Submerge 07 featured 2 spectacular worship teams (Late Nite at Celebration Church, and the HPC team), the dynamic communicator Rev. Spike (aka Greg Hawks), the infamous game show host Al Macaphee, and 17 of the greatest churches in America! The students, ranging from 5th grade to seniors in high school, were literally submerged with the presence of God. It was amazing to see young people put aside their cool fascade and lift their hands and voices to their creator.

I had the honor of sharing in one of the sessions to the kids about making a difference. I could see it all over their faces. This is a generation that wants to make an impact on their culture. The generation that is not changed by the world will be the generation that changes the world. Their energy and enthusiasm created an even stronger fire within me to step up, stand out, and change this world for the cause of Christ!



One of the highlights of the camp was when one of Late Nite's own characters made a special guest appearance as the Deal or No Deal host. Kickball Champion turned game show host Al Macaphee was a hit. His 70's hairstyle accompanied by his sarcastic whit drew in the masses! One girl actually won the grand prize of a thousand dollars! To a junior higher that's like a million!

The whole week was fantastic. I thank God that He allows me to be a part of movement that cannot be stopped. It can not be silenced. We are being followed by a generation that will change this world for the Kingdom!
