I was just thinking about the last week of Late Nite for 05, and I am excited! Someone once said, “It’s not how you start the race but how you finish it.” That’s so true as we look to close 2005 off strong. We have had a great year: topics ranging from relationships to pain and suffering, 2 Late Nite at LSUs, 7 people were baptized, and 57 people accepted Christ for the first time this year. Let’s not take this last week of Late Nite lightly, but let’s press on full throttle towards the finish line. As we shift gears, let’s do some personal inventory. We want to make sure we are doing everything possible to communicate the Love of Christ to this generation. There are so many wonderful ideas that God is birthing in our hearts as it nears 2006, and I am pumped to see how God will use Late Nite in these crucial times. I urge you to come expecting Wednesday because God wants to do some incredible things to seal off this year. We are going to have a Christmas party and a Christmas Mission Trip/ Retreat during the break that you won’t want to miss. Let’s live life to the MAX!

Topics
We have covered a lot of ground this year and brought healing to so many people through Christ. As we set our sights for 2006, some of you may have ideas for future topics that we can explore in Late Nite. It could be something that you are wrestling with, something you don’t understand, or something you would like to explore deeper. Please let us know by posting a comment to this Blog.

I am thinking fruits of the spirit. I heard a series on that a few years back and thought it did well.

Also, OT stories and how they transfer to our lives now. You wouldn't have to do all of them, but maybe 4 or 5 stories we don't hear that often, and why we should use them to make our life better.

Also, passion is my thing, so a whole series on passion (God's passion, Peter's passion, David's passion, What our passion should be, etc) would rock my world.

Good luck. I am looking forward to it.

On passion I meant a further exploration into passion, because last night was good stuff, but it made me want more.

We just finished a four week series on worship up here and it was AWESOME. Also the church in Kazakhstan that I visited is in the middle of a month long worship focus.

With all the craziness going on in the world lately, I think it is a great time to refocus our focus on Who we were created to worship.

New Christians especially need to realize that worship shouldn't just happen on Sundays. I always loved your comments that some of your best times of worship were in your car.
